Blindfolk

Blindfolk was a cryptic multiplayer combat game where players must program their character to foresee and react to the other players' action.

It was first created in the span of 48 hours for Global Game Jam 2016.

This project joins Nataniev in its text-based interaction and concepts.

The game is open source and is available on Github

The game uses a simple scripting language, here is an example of a riposte to an attack coming from the back, and a default movement pattern with an attack and a shout.

case attack.backward step.leftcase default attack.forward turn.right attack.backward say yatta

Begin by finding the guide(g), in every second hexagon, the guide will tell you things to look for. If you find yourself to be walking rather slowly, find the closet in which you can sleep standing up.

The game is currently in open beta, if you find any issue, add it to the github repository below.
